PERRY CO., AL – A 76-year-old man died Thursday from injuries sustained in a head-on crash along the highway in Perry County.
The incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. on AL-183 just north of Uniontown and south of Marion.
Police say that the accident involved a semi-truck and a vehicle. It’s unclear which vehicle was travelling on the wrong side of the road at the time of the accident.
Authorities identified the deceased as Thomas R. Long.
A full investigation is underway.
