DECATUR, AL – A high school student died, and five other people sustained injuries Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Morgan County.
The accident happened at 11:47 p.m. at the intersection of 8th Street Southeast and 9th Avenue Southeast, which is just west of Decatur Morgan Hospital.
There’s no news yet regarding the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
Police say a 16-year-old girl died from injuries sustained in the collision and that medics transported four others to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
