Two-vehicle crash in Lowndes County kills 1

LOWNDES COUNTY, AL – According to AlabamaNews.net, one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lowndes County on Saturday night.

Authorities say the crash took place around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 21 and Lowndes County Road 7. 23-year-old Jaylyn Jackson was driving a Nissan Altima when her vehicle struck a 2019 GMC Yukon.

Jackson was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene. The condition of the other driver involved is unknown at this time.

Police continue to investigate this incident.
