ELMORE COUNTY, AL – One driver was fatally injured after their vehicle crashed and caught fire, WSFA reports.
The driver of a Toyota Tundra was driving down Old Salem Road when he veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree. The wreck caused the Toyota to catch fire.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday and pronounced the driver deceased. Their identity has not yet been released.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently investigating.
