WETUMPKA, AL – According to The Wetumpka Herald, a three-vehicle crash left two people dead just north of Wetumpka on Saturday.
Authorities say the crash took place shortly after 4:30 p.m. near the 172.6 mile marker of US Highway 231. 30-year-old Tevin Robinson was driving a 2008 Honda Odyssey when their vehicle crossed the center line of the highway an struck the side of 38-year-old Jessica Lynn’s 2022 Chevrolet Trax. Robinson’s vehicle then struck a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 57-year-old Sheila A. Frost, head-on.
Frost and a child passenger involved in the collision were both pronounced dead at the scene. Two others involved sustained injuries and were transported to Baptist South Medical Center for treatment.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
