MOBILE, AL – According to FOX10 News, one person was killed and another two people were injured in a crash in Mobile on Saturday.
The crash took place around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Irvington Bayou La Batre Highway and Two Mile Road. Authorities say 41-year-old Donell Dewayne Morgan was driving a Honda HR-V on Irvington Bayou La Batre Highway when he attempted to pass a car ahead of his vehicle that was making a left turn onto Two Mile Road. The HR-V struck the driver’s side of the other car involved, ejecting Morgan from his vehicle in the impact.
Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people in the second car sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
