Narrative
MOBILE, AL – A motorcyclist died Sunday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along a highway in southeast Mobile County.
The incident happened just after 12:30 p.m. on AL-193 north of Dauphin Island. This is near Heron Bay.
Police say that the victim’s 2007 Suzuki GSX motorcycle rear-ended a pickup truck along the highway. The force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike, killing him at the scene.
Authorities identified the deceased as Michael W. Collins.
The driver of the pickup truck did not sustain injuries in the accident.
