Narrative
NEAR TRINITY, AL – A 23-year-old man walking alongside Alabama 24 lost his life after he was hit by a 36-year-old man operating a 2010 Toyota Tacoma Tuesday.
This crash, reported before 6 a.m., happened near Lawrence 359, “five miles southwest of Trinity.” The pedestrian, who was identified as Curtis Robinson, a Decatur resident, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
It is unclear if the driver — 36-year-old Zachary Yasson of Moulton — will be facing charges.
Alabama Law Enforcement’s Highway Patrol Division has launched an investigation and has not provided additional details.
