LAMAR CO., AL – A 29-year-old man died Friday in a motorcycle crash along a highway in east-central Lamar County.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Lamar County 41 near AL-18 near Vernon.
Police say the motorcycle operator struck a sign after losing control of his bike and leaving the roadway.
Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist, identified as James D. Nuckols, deceased at the scene.
