Narrative
FAIRFIELD, AL – A two-vehicle crash along a busy roadway in central Jackson County killed a 16-year-old on Sunday.
The accident happened around 4:07 a.m. on Valley Road near Main Plant Road in the city of Fairfield. This is about seven miles southwest of Birmingham.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles collided.
The victim was the driver of one of the two vehicles. No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
