BLOUNT COUNTY, AL – Two vehicles crashed on US-231 today, leading to the death of one woman and injuring another, according to WHNT 19.
A car crashed into another vehicle head-on after its driver swerved into the opposite lane of US-231. The accident occurred south of Arab, near Thomas Yates Road.
The driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the wreck. The woman who was driving the car from the opposite lane was taken to a nearby hospital.
The Troopers of the ALEA are currently looking into the case. We will be following this story for more updates.
