DEKALB COUNTY, AL – A female passenger of a motorcycle was fatally injured on Saturday after the vehicle crashed on I-59, according to The Gadsden Times.
Two passengers on a Harley Davidson motorcycle were traveling on the interstate nearly four miles south of Collinsville. The motorcycle departed the roadway and overturned for unknown reasons.
The crash took place at around 10:45 a.m., near the 201-mile marker.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The female passenger died at the scene of the accident.
