DEKALB COUNTY, AL – A driver was fatally injured yesterday after a wreck with another vehicle, according to WAFF 48.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that the Jeep driver was not wearing seat belt restraints when the accident took place.
The driver of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler was traveling along Dekalb County 85 when his vehicle collided with a 2004 Chevy Cavalier.
Authorities responded to the wreck at about 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, near the intersection with Dekalb County 602.
The Chevy driver, a 28-year-old from Fort Payne, was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The Jeep driver, a 19-year-old, was killed at the site of the collision.
The ALEA is looking into the circumstances of the wreck.
