Narrative

HALE COUNTY, AL – Two women and a 3-year-old toddler were sent to the hospital, and a 66-year-old man was killed in a two-car collision on Highway 80 Saturday. This crash was reported before 2 p.m. The driver of a 2017 Toyota Camry – 66-year-old James Lynn – succumbed to fatal injuries. The passenger with James – 63-year-old Cheryl Lynn of Winfield – was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for unspecified injuries. The 2020 Dodge Charger driver – 23-year-old Jasmine Scott of Demopolis – and the 3-year-old child with her were also taken to an area hospital for treatment. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating additional details and has not provided further information.
