RUSSELL COUNTY, AL – Authorities are working the scene of a motor vehicle wreck that led to major road closures this morning, WTVM 9 reports.
A car was driving on Alabama 165 at about 10 a.m. today when it crashed. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that the wreck happened near Mead Road.
The highway was shut down as a result of the crash. It’s unclear when it will be reopened.
Motorists were advised to avoid the site of the crash as local crews worked to clear the area.
