Narrative

CULLMAN COUNTY, AL – Two men in their early 20s were injured, and a 24-year-old man died after their Dodge Ram drifted off County Road 107 and crashed into a tree. This fatal wreck occurred before 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Maxwell Ratcliff. First responders rushed Ratcliff to Cullman Regional Hospital, where he later died. The passengers – 23-year-old Calvin A. McNabb and 24-year-old Cole MacDonald of Bremen – sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to local hospitals. It is not exactly clear what caused Ratcliff to lose control of his vehicle.
