HOOVER, AL – Emergency responders were called to a wreck that injured two and caused traffic delays last night, according to WVTM 13.
Two vehicles were traveling along I-65 at about 7:30 p.m. Monday when they crashed for unknown reasons. One vehicle flipped over into a nearby ditch.
The accident happened near the exit towards Highway 31.
The Hoover police and fire departments responded to the scene and rescued a trapped passenger inside the overturned car.
Two people were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Their injuries are non-life-threatening, according to the Hoover Fire Division.
