BLOUNT COUNTY, AL – A driver succumbed to his injuries after his car crashed into another vehicle yesterday, according to The Gadsden Times.
A man was driving down Alabama 75 when his 1996 Chevrolet C1500 crashed into a 2005 Ford F-150. The two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions and struck each other head-on. Alabama State Troopers reported the accident near mile marker 34, at approximately 4:25 p.m. Sunday.
First responders pronounced the Chevrolet’s driver deceased at the site of the accident. He was a 28-year-old from Altoona. It’s unclear whether the Ford driver sustained any injuries.
The Highway Patrol Division with the ALEA is currently investigating.
