BIRMINGHAM, AL – A man has died from injuries he sustained in a wreck over the weekend, the Trussville Tribune reports.
Several vehicles were traveling near the Oporto Madrid Boulevard and First Avenue North intersection when they collided on Friday, February 4.
A passenger of one of the vehicles was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead by hospital staff three days after the crash. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as a 75-year-old man from Birmingham.
It’s unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the crash.
The collision is currently being investigated by the Birmingham Police Department.
