BIRMINGHAM, AL – According to Birmingham Total Traffic, a crash left multiple lanes of traffic blocked on I-65 NB in downtown Birmingham on Monday evening.
The crash was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. near Exit 261A for 17th Street – Downtown. Two right lanes were blocked on the interstate, causing stopped traffic back to Exit 259 for University Boulevard / Highway 149. No injuries have been reported in the incident.
The cause of the crash currently remains unknown.
