BIRMINGHAM, AL – According to Birmingham Total Traffic, a crash took place on I-59 SB in Birmingham on Thursday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 9:00 a.m. near Exit 130 for I-20. One southbound right lane was blocked on the interstate following the accident, causing traffic congestion back to Exit 133.
The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. We will update this post as further information is released.
