GULF SHORES, AL – A bicyclist’s life was claimed after getting hit by a garbage truck on the 200 block of Gulf Shores Parkway after 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. At the time of the reporting, delays were lingering, and drivers were redirected. The bicyclist’s name, gender, and identity will not be released pending notification of the next of kin.
