Narrative
HARTFORD, AL – A 26-year-old woman died, and three people sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in Hartford last Saturday.
The accident happened around 7:40 p.m. on AL-167 near County Road 9, which is on the west side of the city just northeast of Hartford Recreational Park.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the collision or the manner of impact. The driver of one vehicle died at the scene, while her husband and two children went to the hospital with critical injuries. A third child in the vehicle was not hurt.
It’s unclear if the other driver sustained injuries in the crash.
Authorities identified the victim as Tiffany Cobb.
