Narrative
NEAR MCKENZIE, AL – A 60-year-old man lost his life when he was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee while sitting in his parked Lexus NX3 on U.S. Highway 31 around 10 a.m. Friday. Officials said 60-year-old Brian Paul Walton from Memphis, Tennessee, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. The Jeep driver — 22-year-old Tre’Lyn Tysean Kent — was sent to Andalusia Health for treatment of unspecified wounds. There has been no confirmation on whether Kent will face charges.
