Narrative

TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL – A 17-year-old teenage driver from Vance succumbed to fatal injuries after crashing into a tree along Alabama 69 before 10:30 p.m. Saturday. This collision happened five miles south of Tuscaloosa. It is unclear what caused the juvenile (who did not wear a seatbelt) to lose control of his or her 2005 Nissan Maxima and collide with the tree. The unidentified motorist was sent to an area hospital and died there.
