RANDOLPH COUNTY, AL – Thirteen children were hospitalized earlier today after the bus they were on crashed, according to WVTM 13.
A school bus was transporting 26 students on Highway 33 when it crashed and flipped. Authorities were called to the scene on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency responders transported thirteen students to a local hospital. Their injuries are non-life-threatening, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Additional details about the cause of the wreck are unknown as the Highway Patrol Division with the ALEA investigates.
