BIRMINGHAM, AL – Five passengers were taken to hospitals after they were involved in a four-car collision this morning, CBS 42 reports.
Four vehicles were driving near the intersection of Daniel Payne Drive and Cherry Avenue when they collided for unknown reasons. The accident took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Department reported that five people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized after the crash.
Local police are currently investigating the circumstances of the wreck.
