BIRMINGHAM, AL – Cleanup crews are working to clear the site of a wreck that caused a vehicle to leak fuel yesterday, CBS 42 reports.
A tractor-trailer was driving down 17th Street North when it crashed and overturned. The crash caused the vehicle to leak chemicals onto the road.
The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded to the wreck at the road’s intersection with Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Boulevard.
A spokesman for the fire department reported that around 80 gallons of gas were spilled.
