DORA, AL – A Dora man was pronounced dead after he was hit by two vehicles over the weekend, according to WBRC 6.
The pedestrian was on I-22 westbound when two cars crashed into him.
The wreck happened at about 11:08 p.m. Sunday, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency responders were called to the scene at the highway’s intersection with Snowville-Brent Road.
The victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after the crash. He was a 23-year-old man from Dora.
It’s unclear what exactly caused the wreck to take place. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is currently looking into the incident.
