SPRINGVILLE, AL – A commercial truck collision led to the death of a Boaz man and injured a passenger yesterday, according to ABC 3340.
A man was traveling on I-59 yesterday when his 2006 Peterbilt truck swerved off of the roadway and crashed into several trees.
The wreck took place at about 10:30 a.m. Monday, according to Alabama State Troopers.
The truck driver, a 32-year-old from Boaz, was killed at the scene of the accident. Another occupant of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
It’s unclear what caused the truck to crash. We will be monitoring this story as State Troopers investigate.
