SHELBY COUNTY, AL – A man was killed and a woman was hospitalized for severe injuries after a wreck on Alabama 119 on Saturday evening, according to AL.com.
The driver of a Honda Civic was traveling on Alabama 119 near Hoover when he crossed over the centerline and collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla. The woman driving the Toyota was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and the Honda driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The crash took place at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Alabama state troopers are investigating the cause and circumstances of the accident.
